Breaking the Evil Cycle of Failure Part 1

Success and failure are opposite sides of the same coin. But, is there a secret to success? Well, quite frankly, there is no secret! Success is staring everyone right in the face. The problem is that many people are just too lazy to make the effort! – Kome ltoje

Breaking the evil cycle of failure from a long line of generations is not an easy one at all. At times, the factors involved appear so complex in nature that it might even seem like an insurmountable mountain-like edifice. When this happens, many persons tend to become faint-hearted and even give up altogether.

However, as we will soon see, breaking the evil cycle of failure need not be so scary and fear-inspiring as to warrant giving up altogether and accepting failure as”God’s will”in our lives. Of course, failure is not the destiny for anyone by God or anyone else, for that matter.

So, the first thing to do is to have the mindset of success. What is the mindset of success? The mindset of success has to do with believing and accepting the fact that you are not under a”generational curse”as many preachers are inclined to indoctrinate their followers with. Additionally, refuse to blame anyone for your seeming failure in either your business, relationship or other aspects of your day-to-day existence.

Consequently, you need to have a firm conviction that you can surmount and soar above your present unpleasant situation and indeed succeed at all your endeavours. Yes, you can be whatever you want to be! Simply be fully resolute that you will not let anyone or any situation in your life, no matter how unpleasant, tell you different!

From this point on, we will consider the various aspects and factors involved in breaking the evil cycle of failure.

Factors Responsible for the Evil Cycle of Failure

The evil cycle of failure is like a snowball which cannot begin at all without any initial factor triggering it. It is like the forest fire in the dry harmattan season that can be swiftly destructive in an instant, but it needs a little spark to ignite it into a big consuming furnace.

In other words, there are some factors which are responsible for the evil cycle of failure which serves as fuel feeding it with more destructive power and force.

The various factors which are responsible for the evil cycle of failure are as follows:

Human Nature – Developing a Consistent Pattern of Failure

The most formidable opponent which is responsible for the evil cycle of failure is human nature itself. It is human nature to develop a consistent pattern of doing things. Haven developed a pattern, we become so used and accustomed to a particular way of doing things that it almost becomes like the norm in our lives.

Thus, for us to now change these well-entrenched pattern in our lives which may have to do with our personality traits, attitude and work habits becomes extremely difficult, if not impossible, to accomplish.

So, what invariably happens is that we take a look at our lives and see a desirable change, either through the advice of a friend, a relative, an acquaintance or through our own personal observation, but we find ourselves powerless to change the pattern in our lives.

Hence, we continue to do things the way we’ve been accustomed to doing them without stopping to consider for a moment the possibility of a change. Human nature is truly a bitch, isn’t it? Of course, it is!

On the other hand, no one can deny the fact that it is truly desirable when our pattern of doing things revolves around the proper and right direction – though what constitute the right and proper direction is relative to each individual person and may be a subject of heated debates.

However, when it comes to developing a consistent pattern of failure it truly is an undesirable aspect of human nature that everyone can do without.

But, seriously, why should you expect a different outcome or result when you insist on continuing to do things the way you’ve been accustomed to doing them?

Wake up to the reality of our times NOW! Break the evil cycle of generational failure deeply entrenched in your human nature today!

Human Nature – People Forget Easily

Aside from developing a consistent pattern of doing things, another aspect of human nature is that people forget very easily.

And that is why when an expectant mother in the labour ward is experiencing excrutiating pain as a result of an unduly delayed labour, she may rain all forms of abuses on her husband – a spectacular case of transfer of aggression. In some cases, some women in labour have been known to even swear that they will never give in to their husbands’ amorous sexual advances ever again!

But when the labour is past and she is handed over her beautiful bundle of joy a few minutes later, she forgets completely about all the excrutiating pains of labour and even her oath that she would never give in to her husband again.

In many respects, some persons are like that expectant mother in the labour ward when it comes to the evil cycle of failure. And that explains why they seem to make the same mistakes over and over again in their business, their love relationships and other activities in their lives. They quickly forget all about the failure and all factors responsible for it in a very short time after it is past.

Similarly, it is often said that experience is the best teacher. But, if that is true, then the world ought to be full of so many wise and hugely successful persons who have been taught by experience.
But, is this the case in reality? Of course not! It appears that people forget easily and as such do not learn anything from their own experience of failure or that of others.

Consequently, a conscious or sub-conscious refusal by people to learn from their own experience or that of others over time in a particular activity or business endeavour paves the path towards continuing in the evil cycle of failure from one generation to the next.
